Kompany Malakhi

Emily joins Kompany Malakhi with a passion and dedication for making the arts participatory, inclusive and accessible for all.

Emily studied a BA hons degree in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University. Whilst there, Emily became increasingly interested in the connection between the arts, the audience and the impact the arts have on the general public.

Having graduated in 2007 Emily completed a summer internship at the Tate St Ives working alongside the Education team. Shortly after Emily became the Learning and Participation Co-ordinator at The Brewhouse theatre and arts centre where she developed a programme of activities, projects and CPD opportunities that were inclusive and aimed to embed learning into the heart of the organisation.
